🔠Eye test
We’re all regular users of display screen equipment (DSE) here at CareScribe so If you need an eye test for DSE use, you can claim the cost back. Here’s what to do:
- schedule an eye test with a registered optician and let them know this is for DSE use as part of your job
- an eye test includes a full eye and eyesight test by an optometrist or doctor, including a vision test and an eye examination
- request a receipt for the eye test, this should be on headed paper and include the date and cost of the test
- submit your claim through the expenses process with receipt of payment to the Finance team
- once processed, you’ll receive reimbursement for the full amount of the test in line with the expenses process
If your prescription changes or you require further eye care you can repeat this process under DSE regulations
👓 Glasses
If your eye test shows that you need specially prescribed glasses for screen work, CareScribe will pay £70 per year towards this cost, all you need to do is:
- ensure you have a copy of your DSE prescription and receipt of glasses purchased
