❓ Who does this apply to?
TL:DR
Flex hours
- working hours between 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m.
- use status updates in Slack to share your availability
- work together to find ways that meet both your needs and those of the team
Hybrid working
- 2 days a week in the office to align with team
- alternative locations are in the UK
- ensure workspace and equipment adheres to security guidance
💪🏼 What is flex hours?
Flex hours give you the freedom to shape your work schedule around how you work best, support personal commitments and well-being. Working between 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m. you can flex your hours to:
- finish early, start later or take an extra long lunch break
- if you work longer or shorter one day flex your week, our focus is on output and working at your best
- we discourage ‘working anytime’ unless this works for you and is sustainable
🤔 Things to consider
We recognise teams have differing operational needs, using this guide and collaborating with your colleagues you can work towards finding solutions respectful to the needs of the group.
- keep your calendar, out of office and Slack status up to date to help others know when you’re available for meetings and work
- if a project needs all hands on deck then this will take priority
- recurring meetings like daily stand ups and All Hands are to be attended
💼 What is hybrid working?
Hybrid working gives you the option to choose where you work from within in the UK.
